How to read this: members of Congress report each asset and debt in a value band (for example, $1,001 to $15,000), not an exact amount. We add up the low ends and the high ends, then subtract debts the same way, to get the widest possible range. The midpoint is simply the middle of that range, not a measured value. The forms do not include a home the official lives in (unless it earns rent), cars and personal belongings, or federal retirement savings such as the Thrift Savings Plan, so true net worth can be higher. We also leave out mortgages on homes the report does not list as assets (2640 Broadway, 3030 K Street), because the homes themselves are not counted either.

Main sources named in the disclosures and the reporting we cite. The forms don’t split the total into exact amounts, so we don’t show percentages.

Nancy Pelosi reported household assets minus debts of −$55.6M to $353.7M, a midpoint of about $149.1M, on her latest financial disclosure (2025 annual report, filed May 15, 2026).

Nancy Pelosi has represented San Francisco in Congress since 1987 and was the first woman to serve as Speaker of the House, a post she held from 2007 to 2011 and again from 2019 to 2023. She was born in Baltimore, the daughter of a congressman, and married businessman Paul Pelosi in 1963.

Her yearly financial disclosure is one of the largest in Congress. Nearly every asset on it is listed as owned by her husband or held jointly, and his businesses, Financial Leasing Services and 45 Belden Corporation, appear as his sources of salary and management fees.

What her 2025 disclosure shows

The report she filed on May 15, 2026 covers the end of 2025. Eight stock holdings, in Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Broadcom, Microsoft, Nvidia, Salesforce and Visa, are each listed in the $5 million to $25 million band, and several more sit in the $1 million to $5 million band. The report also lists call options on some of the same companies, two commercial buildings in San Francisco, a home and vineyard in St. Helena that earns income from grape sales, and partnerships in office buildings, a Napa Valley resort hotel and a restaurant company.

On the debt side, the report lists mortgages on several properties and two brokerage margin accounts, each in the $25 million to $50 million band. One of those margin accounts first appears on the 2025 report. Because the debt bands are so wide, the low end of our range for 2025 falls below zero, even though the assets alone add up to at least $85.9 million.

How the range has changed

Using the same method for every year, the midpoint of her disclosed range rose from about $99.8 million on her 2013 report to about $149 million on her 2025 report, with a peak of about $194.5 million in 2024. The top of the range rose from $188.7 million to $353.7 million over the same years. These are ranges built from the bands on each form, not exact values, and they move with stock prices, property values and the size of reported debts.

Her 2025 report also lists royalties of $100,001 to $1,000,000 from her book The Art of Power, published by Simon & Schuster. The report gives the book contract's value as undetermined, so it is not counted in our totals.

Nancy Pelosi net worth FAQ

What is Nancy Pelosi's net worth?

Nancy Pelosi's 2025 financial disclosure puts household assets minus debts at minus $55.6M to $353.7M, a midpoint of about $149.1M. Officials report values in ranges, so this is an estimate, not an exact figure.

Where does this number come from?

From Nancy Pelosi's official annual financial disclosure, filed with the Clerk of the House on May 15, 2026. We add up every asset and debt band on the form. The same method is used for every year on the chart.

Has Nancy Pelosi's net worth changed since taking office?

Compared with the earliest online report (2013), the low end of the range went from $10.9M to −$55.6M and the high end from $188.7M to $353.7M. She joined the House in 1987. The House's online database only has her reports from 2013 on, so we can't show her wealth when she first took office.

Why does Nancy Pelosi's range start below zero?

Our low end adds up the smallest possible value of every asset band and subtracts the largest possible value of every debt band. Her 2025 report lists two margin loans of $25 million to $50 million each, so in the most extreme case the debts could outweigh the assets. The midpoint, about $149 million, sits well above zero.
