Grzegorz Krychowiak is a former Poland midfielder who won 100 caps for his country between 2008 and 2023 and played at two European Championships and two World Cups. He started out in France with Bordeaux and Reims, then won the Europa League in both of his seasons at Sevilla before a big-money move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2016. He later played in England, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Cyprus, and announced his retirement in October 2025.
Wprost's 2025 list of the 40 richest Poles under 40 puts his fortune at PLN 109 million, 37th overall. That is about $28 million at the October 23, 2026 exchange rate.
How he made his money
Krychowiak earned his fortune from a long run of well-paid contracts. His spells at Paris Saint-Germain, Lokomotiv Moscow, Krasnodar and Saudi club Abha were among the most lucrative of his career.
Wprost's figure is its estimate of his wealth, not his earnings, and the magazine does not publish a breakdown.
Career at a glance
Krychowiak was spotted by Bordeaux at a youth international between France and Poland in Strasbourg and joined the club in 2006. Loans at Reims helped the club win promotion before he became a regular in Ligue 1.
At Sevilla he was a key part of the side that won back-to-back Europa League titles in 2015 and 2016, and he was one of Poland's most capped players of his generation.
