Robert Lewandowski is one of the greatest strikers of all time. He won two Bundesliga titles with Borussia Dortmund, eight in a row with Bayern Munich, where he won the 2020 Champions League as part of a treble, and three La Liga titles with Barcelona. He won FIFA's Best Men's Player award in 2020 and 2021, has scored more than 750 senior goals and is Poland's captain and record goalscorer. In June 2026 he joined the Chicago Fire in MLS.

The Polish weekly Wprost included Robert and Anna Lewandowski together on its 2024 list of the 100 richest Poles, 97th with PLN 723 million. That is about $184 million at the October 23, 2026 exchange rate. It is a joint figure for the couple, not for him alone, and it is the latest one Wprost has published for them.

How he made his money

Lewandowski has been one of the best-paid footballers in Europe for a decade. Wprost wrote in 2025 that he was the best-paid player at Barcelona and in La Liga, at about €33 million a year before Spanish taxes took roughly half, and that his football salary still made up most of his income.

He has also built a business portfolio: a marketing agency, investments in startups, a housing development in Warsaw's Ochota district and the restaurant Nine's. Wprost reported that he sold his 33 percent stake in the solar company Hymon in 2024, for an undisclosed sum. Anna Lewandowska runs her own fitness and lifestyle business.

Career at a glance

Lewandowski started in Poland's lower leagues with Znicz Pruszków before winning the Polish title with Lech Poznań. At Dortmund he became one of Europe's top strikers and reached the 2013 Champions League final.

At Bayern he won the Bundesliga in all eight of his seasons and set records for goals in a season. He has been Polish Footballer of the Year a record 13 times and has played for Poland at four European Championships and two World Cups, as captain since 2014.
